EU licence holders can drive any rental vehicle in Greece with their standard national licence. Visitors from outside the EU (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.) need an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their home-country licence for cars. For scooters up to 50cc a car licence is sufficient; for scooters 50–125cc you need a category A1 licence; for ATVs and buggies a car (B) licence is required.
